Privacy Policy

OGN.GG (“OGN,” “we,” “us”) is operated by Journey On Media LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information you provide

We collect information you choose to submit, such as your name, email address, comments, feedback, writer applications, newsletter requests, moderation reports, and staff-account information. Do not submit sensitive personal information through public forms or comments.

Audience analytics

With your permission, OGN uses first-party analytics to measure page views, approximate unique visitors, sessions, content opens, trailer plays, outbound clicks, referral domains, device category, platform interest, and country-level location supplied by our hosting provider. OGN does not store raw IP addresses in its analytics database. We assign random browser and session identifiers after you accept analytics. These measurements help us improve coverage and provide truthful, aggregated audience reports to publishers, interview partners, review-code providers, and sponsors.

Necessary technology and service providers

Our hosting, security, database, embedded-video, image, and linked-content providers may process technical data such as IP address, browser information, and request logs as necessary to deliver their services. External images and videos may contact the third party that hosts them. Their privacy practices apply independently. YouTube embeds use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain where available.

How we use and disclose information

We use information to operate OGN, publish and moderate comments, respond to requests, manage contributors, secure the service, understand audience performance, comply with law, and protect our rights. We may disclose information to vendors working for us, when required by law, to address safety or fraud, or in connection with a business transaction. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention and security

Detailed analytics are generally retained for up to 25 months, after which they may be deleted or retained only in aggregated reports. Submissions and account records are kept while needed for the relationship, legal obligations, security, or editorial records. Public comments may remain until removed. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may decline optional analytics or change your choice using “Privacy choices” in the footer. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing hello@ogn.gg. We may need to verify your request and may retain information when legally permitted. Browser privacy signals will be honored where legally required and technically applicable.

Children

OGN is a general-audience gaming news service and is not directed to children under 13. Users under 13 may not submit comments, applications, feedback, or other personal information. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Updates and contact

We may update this policy as OGN evolves. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date or an appropriate notice. Privacy questions may be sent to hello@ogn.gg.

Terms of Use

By accessing OGN.GG, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Informational and editorial content

OGN provides news, reviews, commentary, rumors, release information, performance reporting, community features, and links for informational and entertainment purposes. We work for accuracy, but information can change and errors may occur. Rumors are labeled as unconfirmed. Nothing on OGN is professional, financial, legal, or technical advice.

Acceptable use

You may not disrupt the service; bypass security; scrape at a rate that harms the service; impersonate others; submit unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, deceptive, infringing, private, or malicious content; or use OGN to distribute spam or malware. We may restrict access or remove content when reasonably necessary.

OGN property

OGN’s original writing, site design, graphics, logos, and software are owned by Journey On Media LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. “OGN.GG,” “Odyssey Gaming Network,” associated logos, and related branding are claimed trademarks or trademarks under application as applicable. Limited quotations and links are welcome when accompanied by clear attribution and a link to the original OGN page. No other license is granted.

Third-party material

Game names, screenshots, trailers, artwork, platform marks, and other third-party material belong to their respective owners. Their appearance is for news reporting, commentary, review, identification, or promotional context and does not imply sponsorship or endorsement. External links and embeds are provided for convenience; OGN does not control their availability, accuracy, security, or practices.

Community submissions

You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant Journey On Media LLC a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, format, moderate, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the OGN service. You represent that you have the right to submit it. We may remove or preserve submissions at our discretion and are not obligated to publish them.

Disclaimers and limitation

OGN is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. Journey On Media LLC disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes, governing law, and contact

We may modify or discontinue features and update these Terms. Continued use after an effective-date change means you accept the revised Terms. These Terms are governed by Florida law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Questions may be sent to hello@ogn.gg.

Advertising, affiliate & review disclosures

Sponsored content, paid partnerships, affiliate links, and material relationships will be clearly and conspicuously disclosed close to the relevant content. Sponsored material will not be disguised as independent reporting. If OGN may earn a commission from a link, the disclosure will appear before or near that recommendation. A complimentary review code does not guarantee coverage, favorable treatment, or any particular score or verdict.

Advertising and commercial partners do not receive advance approval of independent editorial conclusions unless a factual verification is explicitly identified and does not alter OGN’s opinion.

Community Guidelines

Talk about games—not through people. Be welcoming, disagree with ideas without attacking individuals, avoid spoilers unless clearly marked, and do not post private information, hate, threats, harassment, spam, impersonation, piracy links, or infringing material. Reported comments may be unlisted automatically while a moderator or editor reviews them. OGN may restore, remove, preserve, or restrict content and accounts to protect the community.
